The Albertsons Companies (ACI) reached out to KRS in order to bring a cohesive look to their newest offering- convenience stores. Each location was to stand alone as a separate destination and maintain the quality of an ACI store with the speed of convenience.
KRS created an upscale aesthetic that is easily adaptable in both size, and branding, so it provides a corporate-wide option to the ACI stores. The interior layout and design of each store were developed so that the format could be applied to a store ranging anywhere from 1,500 to over 5,000 square feet in size. Due to KRS’ extensive expertise, the store plan and merchandising options were modified from the original to produce a more cohesive space. The final design was clean and light with a focus on fresh product at a price within budget.
