Introduction

KRS partnered with Giant Oil to bring its On the Fly convenience store concept to life—a destination designed to keep customers moving, whether they’re grabbing a quick snack, a fresh meal, or simply refueling. The concept balances efficiency with warmth, offering an inviting atmosphere that makes every stop feel comfortable and familiar.

Design + Strategy

Inspired by the iconic TWA terminal by Eero Saarinen, the On the Fly design merges retro air travel aesthetics with a modern twist. The palette of rich reds, burgundies, and whites—accented with pops of teal—evokes the nostalgia of mid-century travel while maintaining a clean, contemporary look. Simple geometries, sweeping graphic forms, and a minimalist material palette featuring warm mid-tone woods and stainless steel create a space that feels both sleek and welcoming. Every design choice reinforces the brand’s promise: to help customers keep soaring through their day.
